Answer:

Because of the parallel lines, the angle directly below y is 76° (corresponding angles).

Adjacent angles on a straight line add up to 180°.

y = 180 - 76 = 104°

There are two ways to find z.

Method 1:

Since (6z - 110)° and y is on the same line,

(6z - 110) + 104 = 180

6z - 6 = 180

6z = 186

z = 31°

Method 2:

Since angle below y is 76°,

6z - 110 = 76 (vertically opposite angles)

6z = 186

z = 31°
