Single gender schools are also subject to stereotypes. Take for example an all girls school, which can suffer from stereotypes such as girls not being able to do highly athletic sports, and subject to feminine clothing. If girls had the chance to interact with their other gender, they would have the opportunity to differentiate from those stereotypes as they can compare their experiences and choose for themselves. Ultimately, single gender schools can ultimately stunt brain development in children as they do not get enough exposure.
