Which of the following is an equivalent form of the

expression 15x+24ax ?
A) 39ax²
B) 39(a + 2x)
C) (5+8a) x
D) (15+24a) x

for the expression you can factorise out x as it is a common factor between both terms, f4u put X out of the bracket and I left with 15 + 24a,. part C is close to the equivalent form however is not correct as when they factor out the X also needed to factor out three. in both part a and b they have added both terms together however this is not possible as the terms are not equivalent, the first term has no variable "a" however the second term does. therefore part d is the correct answer.
