2p + 6 / 3 = 6
p = 2
Explanation:
Divide 6 by 3 to get 2
2p + 2 = 6
Subtract 2 from both sides
2p = 6 - 2
Subtract 2 from 6 to get 4
2p = 4
Divide both sides by 2

p = 2
