Answer: x=7/5=1.4=1²/₅

Explanation:

2(1-5x)+4=-8\\2(1)-2(5x)+4=-8\\2-10x+4=-8\\6-10x=-8\\6-10x+10x=-8+10x\\6=-8+10x\\6+8=-8+10x+8\\14=10x

Divide both parts of the equation by 10:

\displaystyle\\(14)/(10)=x\\\\ (2(7))/(2(5))=x\\\\ (7)/(5)=x\\\\ Thus,\ x=(7)/(5)=1.4=1(2)/(5)

It is in fact 7/5 but for decimal form it’s 1.4 and mixed number would be 1 2/5. If you can’t find your answer, I apologize.
