Use the formula for a linear line.

y = mx + b

m = slope of line
b = y-intercept
(x, y) = any point on the line

plug in the variables we know (we know x, y, and m)

-3 = 6/5 * 2 + b

Solve for b:

-3 = 12/5 + b
-5.4 = b

Then rewrite our equation, leaving x and y as just x and y

y = 6/5x - 5.4
