Explanation:

To find the length of a parallelogram we use the Pythagoras theorem:

$l=√(30^2+16^2)\\\\l= √(900+256) \\\\l=√(1156) \\\\l=34\ inches\\\\Hence,\\\\P=2(34+16)\\\\P=2(50)\\\\P=100\ inches$
