Lines A and B are parallel. Determine numbers that can be the slope of each line. Explain your answer.

Parallel lines, when graphed, will never intersect. For two lines to never intersect they must have the same slope. Therefore, the slopes of lines A and B can be anything as long as they are the same.

For example the slope of line A could be 3 if the slope of line B was also 3.

It could also be 5.2 if the slope of line B was also 5.2.
