What is the equation of the line perpendicular to line l that passes through point (3,3)? be sure to use the fraction template as necessary. points are (-1,2) (2,-3) please help

Answer: y= 3/5x + 6/5

Explanation:

So the first step you need to do is find the original slope of the line. You take (-1,2) and (2,-3) and plug it into slope formula (in photo). This gives us our slope and now flip it and take the reciprocal of it so instead of -5/3 you now have 3/5 this is your new slope. Now your going to take the point (3,3) for the new line and plug it into point-slope (in photo) and you just solve the equation so it’s in regular slope form of y= Mx+ B. And that will give you your final line perpendicular to the original.
