4x + 3 = -5x + 21

  • add 5x on both sides
  • which will get u to 9x +3 = 21
  • subtract 3 from both sides
  • which will get u to 9x = 18
  • divide 9 from both sides
  • and the answer is x = 2

9x + 3 = 21
