If the ratio of tourists to locals is 2:7 and there are 70 tourists at an arts festival, how many locals are in attendance?

There are 20 locals. When you calculate the number needed derived from a ratio, you may use fractions. Or if it’s easier, you may use pattern which is pretty simple if the numbers aren’t too large.
