7. "Does Peter own that car?"- "No, I think his brother..............it now
A. has owned
B.is owing
C. owns
D. Cam own
Why my answer is letter C? First of, his brother is only one or solo. Whenever is singular, you should add "s"
Example:
- Mike gets ice cream for all of us.
- She loves her family so much.
We cannot say "owned" because of the word now. Meaning, it just happened recently, and not from the past.
Example:
- Mike got an ice cream yesterday.
- She had her exam the last week.
We cannot add "ing" like owning since it is not happening in the future.
Example:
- Mike is getting ice cream later.
- She is having her exam tomorrow.
The last choice was "own" and this can be added if the subject is plural.
Example:
- The gang own that candies.
- Jack and Jill get a high grades.
