Answer:

let's say it's a square, you'll have to add up all the sides for example it's 6cm so 6cm x 4

if it's a rectangle and the length is 8cm and the breath is 4cm so when you add up all the sides (8+8, 4+4) it'll be 24cm for the perimeter of the rectangle
