For question 3:
Slope-intercept is y = mx + b, where m is the slope and b is the y-intercept.
The slope is rise/run. Here, that is -4/2, or -2. The y-intercept is -5.
y = -2x - 5
For question 4:
f(x) = -2x + 2
f(-3) = -2(-3) + 2
f(-3) = 6 + 2
f(-3) = 8
f(x) = -3|x - 4|
Those brackets mean "Absolute Value", or the distance from 0 on a number line. So even if the solution within them is negative, just ignore the fact that it was negative. Treat the brackets like parenthesis until then.
f(3) = -3|3 - 4|
f(3) = -3|-1|
f(3) = -3(1)
f(3) = -3
