Step-by-step explanation: So this equation is in y=mx+b format, 5 is the y intercept and x is your slope.

Go to 5 on the y axis then place a dot.

Now the slope just says x, however x just means 1x and 1x as a fraction is just 1 over 1 (1/1).

So your slope is 1/1 now to graph this u use rise over run by going up one and then over 1 until you reach the end of your graph.
