the answer is -2/5

to get the answer you do Y2-Y1 / X2-X1 so our first pair is given to us as (0,3) then we choose our second pair i chose (5-1) so our Y2 is 1 and our Y1 is 3 X2 is 5 and X1 is 0 so that'll give us our problem: 1-3/5-0 giving us -2/5

Answer:

{ \sf{slope = (y _(2) - y _(1))/(x_(2) - x _(1) ) }} \\

Above is the formular of the slope of a line between two points of (x, y).

Consider points (0, 3) and (5, 1)

{ \sf{slope = (1 - 3)/(5 - 0) }} \\ \\ { \boxed{ \sf{ \: slope = - (2)/(5) \: }}}
