Answer:

72.6cm

Explanation:

We'll label the side measured at 13cm as A, the side measured at 16cm as B, the side parallel to side A as C, the sides parallel to side B, 5.7cm, the unknown, and 6.2cm as D, F and H, respectively, the side measuring 7.3cm as G, and the one parallel to it as E.

It's a lot to memorize that many labels, so don't bother if you don't want to.

We know it's a rectangle, so parallel sides are equal. This means that:

C = 13
E = 7.3
DFH = 16

We actually don't need to find the value of F, since we know that DFH = 16 already, all we have to do is add the length of G and E.

We can now add the length of each side together to find the perimeter

2(13) + 2(16) + 2(7.3)
26 + 32 + 14.6
72.6

Answer:

72.6cm

Explanation:

find the missing area first:

6.2 + 5.7 + x = 16cm

11.9 + x = 16 (make x the subject)

x = 16 - 11.9

= 4.1cm

the right side would be 13 cm too because its symmetrical to the left one. same thing with 7.3cm.

finally add all those up:

16 + 13 + 13 + 7.3 + 7.3 + 6.2 + 5.7 + 4.1 = 72.6cm
