x=5

Explanation:

-3(x-6)+2=4(x+2)-23

-3x+18+2=4x+8-23

-3x+20=4x-15

-3x-4x+20= -15

-7x= -15-20

-7x= -35

devide both sides by -7

x= -35/-7

x=5
