Let dimensions be x and 2x

Now

  • Area=18
  • LB=18
  • 2x(x)=18
  • 2x²=18
  • x²=9
  • x=3

Now

Breadth=3

Length=2(3)=6

Perimeter

  • 2(3+6)=2(9)=18cm

Let the width is x, then the length is 2x.

Area of rectangle:

  • x*2x = 18
  • 2x² = 18
  • x² = 9
  • x = 3

Dimensions are:

  • 3 cm and 6 cm

Perimeter is:
