Is this sentence punctually correct?

John is an excellent cook; for each recipe, he selects ingredients that pair nicely together. He buys these ingredients from far-off lands. John practices his recipes several times beforehand so that his guests never leave disappointed. He is truly born to create masterpieces people eat - John is the King of the Kitchen!
