There are 3 boys and 2 girls in the Krunch family. Mr. Krunch bought 3 1/2 pounds of candy to divide equally among them. How much candy did each child get?

3 1/2 would turn into a fraction of 7/2. Now if you were two divide them for the five children it would be 7/10. After that, invert and multiply for it to become: 7/2*2/10= 14/20ths. And then simplify it if you want to 7/10ths. :)
