Answer:

X=15.5

Explanation:

Firstly you have add the x’s and other numbers individually,to form the new equation.

You will get 12x-6=180

We want to get our x as close to the 180 as we can so we have to eliminate or 6 and to do that we add 6 to the minus 6 to make it zero, and what we do to one side we do to the other.

So our new equation is 12x=18

We want our x isolated so to get rid of the 12 we divide both sides by 12.

Lastly our final equation is x=15.5

Answer:

x = 15.5.

Step-by-step explanation

9x-18+3x+12=180

9x + 3x = 180 + 18 - 12

12x = 186

x = 186/12

= 15.5.
