Answer is y = 1/2x - 4
Using point slope formula
y - y1 = m ( x - x1)
y - -2) = 1/2 (x - 4)
y + 2 = 1/2x - 2
Subtract 2 from both sides to isolate y
y + 2 - 2 = 1/2x -2 -2
y = 1/2x - 4
