Answer: Raindrops form when moisturizer collects and precipitates. This is part of the water cycle and when enough moisterizer builds up in the clouds it falls down as rain. During cold seasons this becomes snow.

This is what I found. Raindrops form when microscopic water droplets bump into each other in clouds. the more turbulent the clouds the bigger the raindrops get
