Answer is x = -2, y = 6

9x + 24 = 6

Subtract 24 from both sides to isolate variable

-6 + 2y = 6

Add 6 to both sides to isolate variables

Divide both sides by 2 to solve

y = 6

I added a graph to prove my answer

3x + 2y = 6 - 3 + y = 12 Solve for x and y.-example-1
