If an equation that you are simplifying looks like this, what does that tell you?

Equation: 6w - 2 = 6w - 2

Answer: It tells you that the answer that you are solving need to be the same for both w to make that the equation on both sides be true and have the same number to make it true.

Lets use 3 as an example to replace w for 3 for both sides

6(3)-2= 6(3)-2

18-2= 18-2

16=16

It does equal so that would be an good example to show it but lets try another example.

6(6)-2=6(6)-2

36-2= 36-2

34= 34

It does equal and that would be two good examples i just show you so thats it for today and have a great day.
