Answer:

Strong:

Unsurprisingly, the centre of the reform movement was New England (especially Boston) and areas further west, like Ohio and then Michigan, where New Englanders were resettling. Taken together, many of the reforms coalesced around the larger notion of changing society into a socialist paradise. The abolition of slavery was one of the most powerful reform movements. The greatest success of the Reformers was the Reform Act of 1832. It gave the rising urban middle classes more political power, while sharply reducing the power of the low-population districts controlled by rich families.

Weak:

The propaganda movement failed to secure the desired reforms, especially the expulsion of the friars and their replacement by Filipino secular priests and equality before the law between Spaniards and Filipinos, largely because the Spanish friars used their power and resources to thwart the activities of the Filipinos. The movement failed because of the more pressing problems faced by Spain. Lack of funds and the loss of enthusiasm of its members also led to its failure. Graciano Lopez Jaena berated the Filipino community for allegedly not supporting his political ambitions. He left the movement and became its nemesis.
