Answer:

Macbeth displayed expressions of uncertainty, regret, and confusion over what he had done. He was experiencing a range of emotions and was aware that he was to blame for Banquo's passing. He felt good about defeating the person who stood in the way of his ascent, but he also felt horrible because he knew the man was a killer and dishonest, and he wasn't sure whether he could exhibit sorrow at the funeral of the victim he had killed. Lady Macbeth, on the other hand, had no regret for what had occurred; rather, she was certain that Banquo's death was required in order for her and her husband to acquire the authority and influence they rightfully deserved. Even though she was thrilled about Banquo's passing, she felt she could perform admirably during the burial and convey regret.
