How do you even solve these. I am beyond confused, please help

7x - 3y = 21

(7)/(3)

Explanation:

Slope intercept form is Y= mx + b. So, you just need to get y by itself.

7x - 3y = 21

1) Subtract 7x

-7x + 7x - 3y = -7x + 21

-3y = -7x + 21

2) Divide by -3

-3y/-3 =
(-7)/(-3) x + (21)/(-3)

y =
(7)/(3) x -7

-7/-3 is the same as 7/3 because a negative divided or multiplied by a negative is a positive. so mine as well just put it as a positive fraction.

Slope =
(7)/(3)
