You want a graph of the line y = -5x +2.

It is usually very convenient to create a graph by entering the desired relation into a graphing calculator. That is what we have done in the attachment.

If you're graphing by hand, you recognize the equation is given in slope-intercept form:

y = mx + b . . . . . . . where m=-5 is the slope and b=2 is the y-intercept

This tells you immediately the y-intercept is (0, 2), and the line has a "rise" of -5 units for each "run" of 1 unit to the right. This means other points on the line will be (-1, 7), (1, -3), (2, -8).
