Answer:

The slope is the change in y over the change in x.

Look at the g(x) and the x.
(2 - (-4) )/(0 - (-12)) =
(6)/(12) =
(1)/(2). The slope is 1/2

The y intercept is when x is zero. So the point (0,2) is the intercept. We say that the y intercept is 2. That is where the line will cross the y axis.
