Answer:

54 kilograms

Explanation:

20% of 90kg is 18 kh

So every month the mass of the patient would decrase by 18 kilograms

So 18 x 3 = 54 kilograms

So the patient lost a total of 54 kilograms in the span of 3 months

So now to find out their current mass

90 - 54 = 36

So the patient current is 36 kilograms and the amount they lost was 54 kilogrmas.
