Answer:

Earth analogue

Is there another planet like Earth?

I am trying to answer it in a simple way.

The Big Bang theory attempts to explain to us about the origin of the universe. It talks of a singular huge explosion unimaginable in physical terms. The universe expanded and hence the temperature came down. Later galaxies were formed which makes the present day universe

In the solar system of the milky way galaxy earth was supposed to have been formed about 4.5 years back.Life appeared 500 million years after the formation of earth.

Now the primitive earth (at the very early stages of its formation) looked like this

So, how it becomes life sustaining planets from primitive condition. The credit goes to Sun, the ultimate source of energy

And later evolution happened (after the formation of life of course)

The earthians

After reading the above lines you can say that Sun helps a lot in the formation of earth and thus in the formation of life.

How many stars are there in the universe?( infinite)

How many galaxies exists in the universe?(infinite)

How many planets like earth would be there in the universe? (Of course infinite)

So the only anomaly remains here is that humans have not yet succeeded in discovering a planet like earth. ( That doesn't mean there is no planet like earth)

These are some of the planets like earth as discovered by NASA in 2015.From left these are Kepler-22b, Kepler-69c, Kepler-452b,Kepler-62f, Kepler-186f (Wow amazing names!) and earth.

There are numerous planets like earth in the entire universe. So lets keep searching for such planets.

Thanks.
