Jacob- $55 Sister- $95
If the told amount was 150, you divide it by 2 and then subtract 20 from Jacob’s amount and add 20 to his sister’s amount.
1st lap- 16secs 2nd lap- 12secs
Since she ran both of the laps in 28 seconds, you divide it by 2 and then subtract 2 for the 2nd lap and add 2 for the 1st lap to have them 4 seconds apart.
Monday- 45mins Tuesday- 75mins
Same thing, divide 120 by 2, subtract 15 for Monday’s total and add 15 for Tuesday’s total
Hope it helps

Answer:

Explanation:

1. Jacob = 150$

Sister= 150$ - 20$ = 130$

So, Jacob = 150$ and Sister = 130$

2. 2 laps = 28 secs

28 divided by 2 = 16

If each lap was run at the same time, it would have been 16 but it wasn't, the second lap was 4 seconds faster. So, we should do 16 - 4 = 12 secs.

The answer is 1st lap = 16 seconds and the 2nd lap = 12 seconds.

3. Total = 120 min

Tuesday = 15 min

Monday = 120 min - 15 min = 105 min

So, Monday = 105 min and Tuesday = 15 min

I hope this helped!
