The percentage is 17% and the rotio is 7.5

Explanation:

(a) 28000-20000=8000.

(8000/28000+20000)*100%

=16.66%=17%

(b) (28000/48000)

= 7/12.

(20000/48000)

=5/12.

so you take the numerators which are 7 and 5.so the ratio is7.5
