Answer:

x = 4/5

Explanation:

a number n multiply by 2/3
===> (2/3)n = 2n/3

then divide by 5/6
==> 2n/3 ÷ 5/6

Dividing by a fraction is multiplying by the reciprocal of the fraction

So
2n/3 ÷ 5/6 = 2n/3 x 6/5 = 12n/15

12n/15 can be reduced by dividing numerator and denominator by 3

giving 4n/5

Multiplying x by n ==> xn

So xn = 4n/5

Crossing out n from both sides:
x = 4/5
