Each of these movements emerged out of a different set of unique experiences and as a result, they each have different goals and ideologies. Chicanismo, for example, emerged out of the shared experience of oppression and discrimination that Mexican-Americans face in the United States. The movement's goal is to promote Chicano culture and to fight for the civil rights of Mexican-Americans. In contrast, the Chicano Moratorium was a mass movement that emerged in response to the high number of Chicano casualties in the Vietnam War. The goal of the Chicano Moratorium was to end the U.S. military draft and to protest the Vietnam War.
Hope this helps :)
