I'm not sure how to explain it but I'll try!

What I did is just divided the distance (mi) by the time (h).

For example, when you divide 4.55 ÷ 0.5, you get 9.1.

Doing the same for each set of numbers will always get you 9.1.

You could also check by multiplying the time by 9.1.

For example, 1.5 × 9.1 gives you 13.65, which is the distance for that set of numbers.
