Explanation:

THE POINT OF INTERSECTION IS WHERE F(x) = G(x)

(x + 3)(x - 1) = (x + 1)(x - 3) \\ {x}^(2) + 2x - 3 = {x}^(2) - 2x - 3 \\ \\ {x}^(2) - {x}^(2) + 2x + 2x - 3 + 3 = 0 \\ 4x = 0 \\ (4x)/(4) = (0)/(4) \\ x = 0

find the y coordinate by plugging in the value of c in any of the function. You will get thw same value

g(0) = (0 + 1)(0 - 3) \\ g(0) = 1( - 3) \\ g(0) = y = - 3

The point of intersection is (0,-3)
