Answer: 0.44
Step by step explanation:
2x + 4x - 7 = 0
Collect like terms to get:
6x^2 - 7 = 0
Add seven to both sides:
6x^2 = 7
Square root both sides to get
6x = 2.65 (rounded to 2dp)
Divide 6 by both sides:
x = 0.44
