It is known that a - 2b = 3. Calculate the value of the expression – 2a + 4b.​

Explanation:


- 2a + 4b = - 2(a - 2b)

The new expression is two times the previous equation...but negatively

therefore this means to find the new equation you multiply the whole given equation by


- 2(a - 2b) = - 2(3) \\ - 2 a + 4b = - 6
