In ancient cities they struggled to find the best kind of government or way of ruling which led to the down fall of great empires. For American, they established a government they believed was fair and gave their citizens a chance to participate. Although not everyone had equal right such as women and people of color. In accidents times the church often had a lot of power and authority and there wasn’t religious freedom. In America the church has no power of the government and there is religious and people didn’t blindly believe the church like in ancient times. Since these civilizations were still developing and they didn’t know the things we know now diseases like the plague were spread and people since no one knew how to treat it thousands of people were killed. With modern technology we better understand how germs spread and are able to treat illnesses with vaccines and medicine.
