Narrative nonfiction is a bit interesting because despite being well, not fiction, it still has characters, follows a narrative arc, and has an identifiable theme. In other words, it still tells a story, but it's all true. While most other non-fiction books are usually about facts or information, narrative nonfiction has more of a creative version while still sticking to real-life events (with no made-up parts).
