Somebody please solve the Absolute Value Inequality.: |-7b+1|-8<-70

Answer:

No Solution

Explanation:

An absolute value will always have a positive value. If you isolate the absolute value it shows the abs val LESS THAN a negative number. Its not possible to have a positive less than a negative.

If you just go on and do the problem in auto-pilot, the answers don't check. ALSO since it it a LESS THAN inequality statement BOTH of the inequalities have to be true at the same time which is not possible.
