I’m not sure what you mean but if it is long division this is what you do
i.e 3 x 63
first you see if you can divide 3 goes into 6. It does, 2 times. So the first number is 2. Then you check if 3 can go into 3. Ofc it can, one time. So the second number is 1. The answer would be 21
