Ilana says that a fraction with a prime number in the numerator is always in simplest form. Is Ilana correct? Explain.

She is correct.

In order to turn a fraction into its simplist form, you need to not be able to divide the numerator or the denominator by ANY integer. A prime number is not divisible by anything, so it is its simplist form.
