The equation 4x-1 is equal to 13

Step by step equation-
4x-3=11
Add three to both the three and the 11 to get the x alone.
4x=14
Divide both sides by 4.
x=3.5

Next, substitute the x in 4x-1 so the equation is now 4(3.5)-1
4 times 3.5 is equal to 14.
14-1=13

I hope this helps!! Good luck :)
