Newton's Universal Law of Gravitation is a law created by Newton (obviously). It is the equation
F=G(m1m2)/(r^(2) ) where F is the force of gravity, G is the gravitational constant (varies between places), m1 and m2 are the masses of the 2 objects and r is the distance between the centers of the 2 masses.

Newton's law of gravitation, states that any particle of matter in the universe attracts any other with a force varying directly as the product of the masses and inversely as the square of the distance between them.
