Subtract 5k from both sides
We have;
7k-5k=5k+18-5k
2k=18
Divide both sides by 2
2k/2= 18/2
:• k= 9

K=9
Combine like terms (5k and 7k)
Subtract 7k from 5k which is 2k
Then divide 2k from 18 which equals to 9
