A rectangle has length 5.8cm and width 2.4cm, both correct to 1 decimal place.

Answer:

Length=6cm

Width=2cm

Explanation:

length of a rectangle is rounded off to one digit where by its decimal point is greater than 5 hence, it changes the whole number part to 6. Different from width whose decimal point is less than 5 hence, it doesn't change the whole number part hence,it remains as 2.
